Synopsis

Kanata Katagiri, the challenger from Europe. Michael Beckenbauer, the assassin from Stuttgart. Kouki Sawatari, a disillusioned genius. As the younger racers show off their strengths, Lake Ashinoko GT is the new 2nd stage of MFG. The steady rain fall at the start of the race becomes significantly worse. Volcanic ash piling up, they're faced with a slippery trap of a battle. Known as The Demon of Lake Ashinoko, there's a countdown to the heavy fog. Racing in the 86, Kanata uses a miracle technique to catch up to his rivals in their high-powered vehicles, causing a huge stir among the MFG fans. In preparation for the third MFG race in The Peninsula Manazuru, Kanata sees to powering up the 86. Not only that, but Keisuke Takahashi, a capable former highway speedster, takes the successor of "Gunma Pride," Sena Moroboshi on as his disciple. A new participant in the race, he considers Kanata his rival. With the 86 powered up and equipped with turbo, Kanata has an overwhelming performance in the qualifying rounds, however, just before the finals, an unimaginable misfortune strikes--!
